Join Beveridge Place Pub and the Washington Beer Blog in West Seattle for three days of fresh hop beers.
The final list of breweries and beers is still coming together for this weekend’s Fresh Hop Festival at Beveridge Place Pub (Thursday – Saturday). We know for certain that Thursday and Friday will offer hop lovers a selection of 24 fresh hop beers, available in full-pours or via self-designed taster trays. Saturday is the main event, with upwards of 40 beers available festival-style.
The aim is to provide beer lovers with an opportunity to sample a variety of fresh hop beers side-by-side, experiencing a broad range of fresh hop flavors. Gary the Publican and I got together and we brainstormed, creating a wish list that included some of our favorite breweries and the ones we know are especially adept at producing beers of this style. We then set out to secure as much beer as we could. This event is the result.

- A three-day celebration of fresh hop beer crescendos with a fresh hop beer festival on Saturday
- Thursday, October 9th, 3-11 p.m.
- Friday, October 10th, 3-11 p.m.

Here is a taste of what to expect.

- Enjoy beers from fresh-hop rockstars like Bale Breaker Brewing, Cloudburst Brewing, Single Hill Brewing, Stoup Brewing, and Varietal Beer.
- Beers from trusty, familiar breweries like Georgetown Brewing and Sierra Nevada Brewing.
- Breweries recognized for their exceptional hop prowess, like Breakside Brewing and Grains of Wrath Brewing, two of the most highly decorated producers of IPA in the nation.
- Sample the very last fresh hop beer from Boundary Bay Brewery: the brewery recently closed, but we’ve secured some of the last beer they brewed in Bellingham.
- Breweries not often seen around these parts, like Lumberbeard Brewing from Spokane, ColdFire Brewing from Eugene, and Stemma Brewing and Structures Brewing from Bellingham.
