Four breweries collaborate for Skagit Valley Food Co-op’s 50th Anniversary

The Skagit Valley Food Co-op in Mount Vernon, Washington is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2023. To commemorate the occasion, it is working with local breweries on a Golden Jubilee Beer Series. The first beer in the collaboration series was released today, March 21st. You’ll find the CoHop Anniversary Ale, an IPA, on tap at the participating breweries (see below) and in cans at the Co-op.

The Golden Jubilee Beer Series is a collaboration between District Brewing, Farmstrong Brewing, North Sound Brewing, and Temperate Habits Brewing. The CoHop collab series is “a nod to the magic of working together to offer our community something delicious, like the Co-op does, and has done since 1973. …because we all get by with a little hop from our friends.”

The CoHop series continues with another beer release this summer. Details available when that one is released. There will also be a collab cider in the fall.
