Dru Bru presents its Bikes and Brews event on August 19th

“This is an all-day event for trail and beer enthusiasts, held in Cle Elum,” said the announcement from Dru Bru. Bikes and Brus is a bike-inspired beer event with activities for everyone. The event takes place at Dru Bru‘s brewery and taproom in Cle Elum.

Activities include trail maintenance, airbag jump clinics, bike rides, a brewery tour, raffles, live music, a vendor expo, and lots of Dru Bru beer. The goal of the Bikes and Brus event is to raise funds and awareness for Towns to Teanaway, a multi-use, stacked-loop, nonmotorized trail system linking the communities of Cle Elum, Roslyn, and Ronald to the Teanaway Community Forest. Specifically, to help build the trail from Cle Elum Ridge to West Fork Teanaway Campground.

Dru Bru will raise funds by conducting raffles and collecting donations. Also, the brewery will donate $1 for every pint sold.

“We want to create a fun event for everyone that showcases and celebrates the amazing trails we have in Upper Kittitas County while enjoying tasty craft beer!”

Bikes and Brus, will also showcase a new beer from the brewery: a West Coast Pilsner, Pay Dirt. The brewery describes the beer as a golden and effervescent Pilsner dry-hopped with Motueka and Lemondrop hops, which creates a crisp citrus finish. “Uniquely crushable, this beer will satisfy IPA and lager fans alike at the end of a day of trail riding.”

Pay Dirt West Coast Pilsner was brewed to support and raise awareness for the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, whose grassroots efforts are committed to building, maintaining, and expanding accessible trail systems throughout the state of Washington.
