Crucible Brewing celebrating its 7th anniversary this Saturday

Crucible Brewing celebrates its Seven-Year Anniversary this Saturday, October 1st at the brewery and taproom in Everett. “We always like to do a different theme for each anniversary,” says Shawn Dowling, the brewery’s co-owner. “This year we chose a Casino / 777 theme for our Lucky 7 Year Anniversary!”

Keep an eye on the Facebook event page for all the info. Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s happening at the event.

Crucible Brewing 7 Year Anniversary Bash!

  • Commemorative Crucible Anniversary Poker Chips, Live Music, Barrel Aged Beer Releases, A Dog’s Playing Poker Tournament, Fundraisers and more!
  • First 100 Pints Ordered will get a Crucible 7-year anniversary commemorative Poker Chip (max 1 per person)!

Music

  • Live music from Zach Michaud – Zach is a singer/songwriter’s singer/songwriter. Truly a hardcore troubadour. From sad drunken ballads to sad funny ballads and everything in between because there is a lot, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
  • Live music from Jaeden Luke – With a tender, soulful voice that convicts every word with pure emotion, his lyrics and melodies will make any listener feel right at home. Thanks to his admiration of The Beatles, he learned guitar at age 9 and has pursued music ever since. Now he is often vocally and musically compared to Ed Sheeran and John Mayer.
  • Headliner: Live music from The Crucible Band – in their world premiere performance! The All-Crucible Staff Band featuring Brewer Dan on Bass, Kent Mango on Drums, Jacob on Guitar, Kyyle Cort on backup Guitar/Vocals and Dick/Andrea/Shawn on Vocals! Come watch us jam our hearts out!

Barrel Aged Beer Releases

  • We’ve got three BIG and Bold Barrel Aged Beers that we are bringing out just for this event. They are:
  • Barley Wine Release – Crucible’s first Barley Wine will be on tap for the anniversary!
  • The Return of the notorious “Bourbon the Todd” – scotch ale”
  • And a BIG Barrel Aged Sour ringing in at 10% ABV – aged in acacia wood barrels – less of a punch than oak—and acacia has an unusual, very distinctive, lemony-herb aroma. Sounds perfect for a sour – we cant wait for everyone to try it!

Games of Chance and Skill

Games of Chance and Skill will be staged throughout the brewery. No actual gambling though as that would probably get us in BIG trouble. Happening from 5pm to 7pm.

Dogs Playing Poker Tournament – win dog treats and toys – Benefit for the Everett Animal Shelter! Roulette Table, Craps, And other games of chance setup throughout the brewery
