Copperworks Kenmore turns two, and it’s throwing a birthday party!

Copperworks is celebrating on Friday, November 7, at 5 pm with a freshly tapped cask finished Negroni and complimentary cake provided by De La Soil, a farm-to-kitchen concept housed within Copperworks Kenmore.

“We are grateful for the community that has developed under our roof, and have had a wonderful time fostering connection with our guests,” said Copperworks President and Co-Founder Jason Parker. “Whether it’s trivia nights, pop-up markets, festivals, or simply an afternoon treat, we have loved having guests in and sharing the joy of a good spirit or cocktail. We hope to see folks join us at the party, and cheers to another great year ahead.”

Cask Finished Negroni Cocktail

As it did for its first birthday celebration, Copperworks is marking the birthday with a freshly tapped cask-finished cocktail.

The cask behind the 2-year birthday cocktail has a story of its own. After maturing in Copperworks American Single Malt Whiskey many years ago, it was sent down the road to Letterpress Distilling and was used to age a special “riserva” batch of their popular Amaro Amarino. Eventually, and more than three years later, this cask returned to Copperworks to finish what would become the Copperworks Amaro Cask American Single Malt Whiskey, the most recent Copperworks Whiskey Club release.

“This cask has retained some serious flavor along the way,” said Copperworks Distilling Co. Vice President and Co-Owner, Jeff Kanof. “Realizing this was a perfect opportunity to augment a craft cocktail, we decided on the classic Negroni and got to work. For this cocktail, we decided to use our standard Copperworks Gin, as opposed to our Cask Gin, to let this particular cask shine and tell its own story. This is complemented with Brovo Jammy Vermouth and Highside Amaro Rosina. Resting in and poured right from the cask at Copperworks Kenmore, this cocktail promises to change each time guests try it, surprising and delighting every time.”
