Chuckanut Brewery celebrates Oktoberfest on September 8th

Arguably one of the best lager-focused breweries in the nation, Chuckanut Brewery‘s dedication to German-inspired beers is unquestionable, from the styles it produces to the ingredients it uses. Since 2016, the Bellingham brewery has hosted an Oktoberfest party that showcases these great beers. Below we share information about this year’s event, which takes place on Saturday, September 8th from 1:00 – 10:00.

The event celebrates the arrival of the harvest season, offering up a lot of the German-style beers for which Chuckanut is famous. Beyond the beer, there will be activities, music, food and face-painting for the kids. Add to that beer garden games like washers, giant Jenga and corn hole, along with other fun stuff like a yodeling contest, costume contests, and liter-holding contests and you have a recipe for a great bier fest. And of course, The Chicken Dance.

Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen will open their doors at 1:00 to start the festivities, which take over the entire parking lot. A very limited supply of Chuckanut Oktoberfest 2018 half-liter mugs will be available for purchase.

For the beer drinkers, Chuckanut will pour its award-winning German style Fest Bier 2018, along with a selection of other European-style ales and lager beers.

Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen’s regular menu will be suspended for the day to create more room to enjoy all the Oktoberfest fun.
