The apex of Quartzite Mountain stands proudly and politely 3,700 feet above the 2,500 residents of Chewelah, Washington. The town, about an hour north of Spokane, is home to Quartzite Brewing. Jake Wilson and Patrick Sawyer opened the brewery in February 2016. We just learned via social media that the brewery has new owners.

“After nearly a decade of brewing beer, building community, and creating a space we’re incredibly proud of, we’re excited to share that Quartzite Brewing is in the process of transitioning to new ownership,” said the post on Facebook.

“This brewery has always been about more than pints. It’s been about the people. From day one, you’ve shown up with enthusiasm, kindness, and support, and together we’ve built something truly special in this little corner of Washington. We are deeply grateful for every conversation, every event, every shared laugh, and every person who has helped make Quartzite what it is today.”

“As we take this next step, we’re genuinely thrilled for what’s ahead. The new owners, Nick and Elana bring a passion for craft beer and community that we know will keep the spirit of Quartzite alive and growing. Keep an eye out, we’ll be posting more about them soon!”
