Original Post: There’s no escaping the fact that pilsners are rising stars in the world of craft beer. And why not? Light-bodied and hoppy, they speak a different dialect of the same language as IPA. It’s a challenging beer style to get right, but these days more breweries around the Pacific Northwest have the patience and skills to nail it.
All that being said, Spokane’s Brick West Brewing invites you to the 2nd Annual Pilsner Picnic on Saturday, July 22nd. The event features pilsners from 11 of the region’s breweries (listed below). Last year it proved itself a very popular event so you should secure tickets now. Proceeds from the event are donated to Volunteers of America.
- Bale Breaker Brewing
- Brick West Brewing
- Fremont Brewing
- Icicle Brewing
- Laughing Dog Brewing
- Lumberbeard Brewing
- Pelican Brewing
- Perry Street Brewing
- Uprise Brewing
- Whistle Punk Brewing
- YAYA Brewing
