For the past 30 years the brewery and bistro in downtown Bellingham has cranked out great beer and great food in a lovely, laid back atmosphere, but it’s all coming to an end. The folks at Boundary Bay Brewery invites you to join them for one last shindig this Saturday, September 20th. And it’s a big ‘un. Details below.
A Fond Farewell
Many people across Western Washington and the Pacific Northwest hold a special place in their hearts for Boundary Bay Brewery. I am no different. Personally, I’ve enjoyed too many great times to remember. Reunions with old college buddies. After-hike recovery beers and yam alecheladas. Watching UW football games at the bar with Ed. If the beer garden could’ve accommodate just a few more guests, it would have hosted our wedding.
The last hurrah, this Saturday’s 30th Anniversary Party at Boundary Bay Brewery marks the end of an era. Almost a year ago, the brewery and bistro announced that it would close and now that final day is very near. They’re going out with a bang. They’ll close down that street out front, as well as the alley out back. Two stages will offer live music all day long. Along with that, food and crafts vendors. Entertainment Schedule:
- 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.: Enjoy music from the Bellingham Celtic Festival, along with performances from Irish dancers throughout the day!
- 11 a.m.: House Wrens
- 1 p.m.: Bottle of Smoke
- 3 p.m.: Baby Cakes
- 5 p.m.: Sleepy Alligators
- 8 p.m.: Hot Damn Scandal
