Iron Horse Brewery is introducing a new pale ale to its year round lineup. Send It pale ale is described as citrusy and moderately bitter. Here is the announcement with more details from the brewery.
Iron Horse Brewery is introducing a new year-round pale ale called Send It, available in six-pack 12 oz cans and draft.
At 5.25% ABV it’s a highly drinkable, middle-tier abv beer with moderate hop intensity but full sendability. This beer is made with Citra (™) and Comet hops and has 37 IBU. We recommend pairing it with being rad and your best friend, Jerry.
“We asked ourselves what name would work for a pale ale intended to satisfy the desires of outdoor-minded hop-loving people who have a go-for-it attitude, and we realized it was Send It,” said Dane Williams, brand motivator and chief jargon officer. “Each sip is crisp and flavorful with big citrus aromas that will make you want to get up and go now. Because waiting can wait.”
Release and Availability
Iron Horse Brewery launched Send It the first week of April, and it is available in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Alaska.
Part of the launch includes a licensing agreement with Lenny Boy Brewing Co. from North Carolina, which grants Iron Horse Brewery the right for concurrent use of the name Send It.. Iron Horse paid a fair licensing fee and as of April 11th, 2018, has a signed agreement to legally use the Send It trademark west of the Mississippi River.
The release has been in the works for several months with placement secured at several of the major chain grocery retailers as well as independent grocers and beer retailers.
