From the brewery: Peanut Butter Wolf, our new peanut butter brown ale, debuts Saturday, April 18th. It features peanuts up front in the aroma, and the flavor brings a little graham cracker and just a faint hint of chocolate to the party.

This isn’t one of those sweet, syrupy “peanut butter cup” dessert beers. The focus is on the peanuts, rather than the chocolate. It’s a medium-bodied, amber colored, easy drinker at 6.4% ABV and 32 IBU. We’ve had a lot of those big, sticky sweet peanut butter beers and while they’re fun…we wanted to try something a little different, that we could imagine ourselves drinking a whole pint of.

If you’re a peanut butter lover, but don’t want to kill the evening by downing a big heavy dessert beer, you’re going to love this one.
