Black Raven Brewing announces the release of a seasonal, but not necessarily a winter-seasonal beer: Nothing But Hazy, a tropical IPA. Brewed with oats, wheat, lactose, and then fermented with the A38 Juice strain from Imperial Yeast, it’s got all the makin’s of a hazy, tropical bomb. It’s getting frosty outside, but we’ve still got that warm weather energy in a glass. Meet Nothing but Hazy, a paradise of tropical and citrus aromas, balanced by light hop bitterness and a mid-dry finish.
Nothing But Hazy is one of our two hazy style beers that we brew throughout the year. We started with some 2-row pale and pilsner malt and adding some wheat, lactose and oats to build a hazy base. Then we fermented this beer with Imperial Yeast lab’s Juicy strain to enhance the hazy appearance and add some more fruity flavors to the hop profile.
