The 2024 edition of Beer Church Turkey Bowl happens on Saturday, November 16th at 5:30 PM. The location is West Seattle Bowl. We might even have room for you to bowl! Over 20 years ago, I started an event to raise funds for the local food bank. Beer Church Turkey Bowl started out as a modest affair. Just me and a dozen of my friends. Over the years, it has evolved into something much more grand, taking over the entire bowling for an event that sees folks from the local beer industry bowling alongside regular, non-industry folks. We’re talking upwards of 200 bowlers and scores of other people just hanging out, enjoying beers, and participating in the raffle/auction.

West Seattle Bowl pours a surprisingly large and tasty selection of craft beer. They recently remodeled and expanded the bar. Among the draft options is this year’s version of the annual Beer Church beer. Brewed with our friends at Elliott Bay Brewing, Beer Church Pale Ale is an aggressively hopped pale ale brewed using Amarillo, Centennial, and Simcoe hops. Proceeds from the beer, like the entire event, are donated to West Seattle Food Bank.
