B-Side Brewing releasing Distortion, a Bourbon barrel aged strong ale

On Saturday, November 19th B-Side Brewing in Woodinville releases Distortion, an American Strong Ale aged in J.P. Trodden bourbon barrels. J.P. Trodden is a Woodinville-based craft distillery.

B-Side Brewing will have the beer on tap at it’s tasting room and has also packaged some of it in 22-oz bottles, which will be available for sale. This is a small batch beer so limited quantities are available.

The same folks who run the brewery also operate Des Voigne Cellars. In addition to barrel-aging the beer in bourbon barrels, they’ll also release a Zinfandel that was finished in J.P. Trodden bourbon, providing you will an opportunity to compare how the barrels affect the finished product.

Local food truck Meat on a Mission will be serving food.
