The first-ever Pearl District Beer & Arts Fest is a one-day beer fest in Portland on Saturday, July 29th, 2023. The event was organized by Deschutes Brewery and Backwoods Brewing. The fest will feature beer and cider from a number of local producers, and other festive stuff too.

“What could be better than an ice-cold beer on a hot summer day, blocks away from where it all began?” said the official announcement. “For nearly 150 years, Oregon has been on the map for great beer, thanks in part to pristine mountain water, a grain- and hop-friendly climate, and brewers’ passion to create some of the best beers in the world. Showcasing
fan favorites and exclusive beer releases, this is one beer festival not to miss.”

The Pearl District Beer & Arts Fest happens on Saturday, July 29th, from noon to 8:00, at the North Park Blocks in Portland’s Pearl District. The event includes beer from more than 20 of the region’s breweries. Also, live music from local bands, food carts, and local artists. Location: 8th and Flanders
North Park Blocks, Portland, set up on NW 8th Ave between Flanders and Glisan.

Deschutes Brewery joined forces with Backwoods Brewing Company to honor the history of beer in Portland. Both of the breweries operate taprooms near the festival site.
