A Hawaiian-Themed Dinner with Exceptional Cider

Seattle’s Watershed Pub and Kitchen is once again teaming up with Alpenfire Cider to present a delicious food+cider experience. They call it “The longest continuously running cider dinner in the universe, probably.” Well, I suppose 13 years is a long time. The Hawaiian-inspired event takes place on Wednesday, September 23rd.

Alpenfire Cider of Port Townsend is a family-owned and operated orchard-based cidery. Very few cider producers do it this way. The company (family) is committed to crafting authentic ciders that pay tribute to heritage apple varieties and time-honored production methods. The orchard was intentionally planted in 2003 and cider production started three years later.

In their own words, Alpenfire is “rooted in tradition and guided by simplicity, [we] take pride in focusing on single-varietal and orchard-based cider blends that tell the story of the fruit and unique terroir of the Pacific Northwest.” The resulting ciders are always excellent.
