You are invited to join 5 Rights Brewing in Marysville for an evening of barrel-aged beers with a very special guest: Ben Edmunds, the Brewmaster at Breakside Brewery. The Brewers Experience Night takes place at 5 Rights Brewing on Wednesday, April 26th at 6:00 PM.
“The timing couldn’t be better as it was just announced that Ben is the recipient of this year’s Innovation in Craft Brewing Award from the Brewer’s Association,” says R.J. Whitlow, co-owner and head brewer at 5 Rights Brewing. “This is a really special opportunity to meet one of the premier brewers in the industry today and we are thrilled to be able to host him. Ben is an award-winning beer genius who, among many other accomplishments, has been making some incredible barrel-aged offerings and we can’t wait to pick his brain about how he crafts them.”
If you aren’t familiar, Portland, Oregon’s Breakside Breweery is one of the Northwest’s most-decorated breweries. Under Ben’s leadership, the brewery has earned a host of medals and accolades.
To accompany the discussion, 5 Rights will offer a taster tray with two barrel-aged selections from each brewery, specially chosen for this event. Along with the beer, some paired sweet/savory eatery bites from the kitchen. There will be a time for Q&A with both brewers and a chance to meet and interact with Ben Edmunds.
