Join the tropical escape in Marysville and enjoy beers from breweries up and down the West Coast and beyond. January 23rd through 25th.

For the sixth year, 5 Rights Brewing presents its Hazy Days of Winter event, a three-day celebration of hazy beers. Each year, the brewery creates its own beers and taps into beers from some of the best haze-producing breweries on the West Coast and beyond, giving local beer fans a chance to sample beers from breweries not often (or ever) seen around here. The list of guests includes breweries from Alaska and North Dakota.

“It’s that rainy, darker, and colder time of year again when we start to long for a vacation to someplace sunny and warm,” said R.J. Whitlow, co-owner and brewer at 5 Rights Brewing. “In case you can’t get away this year to a tropical island somewhere, we like to take a weekend in January and transport the whole taproom into a tropical paradise—to bring a taste of Summer to all of us in the middle of Winter.”

  • Event: 6th Annual Hazy Days of Winter
  • When: January 23rd, 24th, and 25th during regular taproom hours
  • Where: 5 Rights Brewing, 1514 3rd Street, Marysville, WA
  • Tickets: Your $24 ticket includes a taster tray of five 5-ounce pours and a souvenir glass. Additional tasters and pours are available after ticket purchase. Tickets are available at the counter when you arrive.

This year the Hazy Days of Winter event serves as the kickoff for the 10th Anniversary of 5 Rights Brewing. “We’re doing 10 different collabs with 10 different breweries up and down the West Coast. It’s going to be a fun and action-packed year for sure,” said R.J. “We will also be tapping the first of our 10th Anniversary Collaboration beers at this year’s Hazy Days of Winter event, our Crush the Groove Hazy IPA collaboration with Reuben’s Brews. The beer will be available on tap and in cans at our place, Reuben’s taproom, and limited distribution to some of our long-time shared customers.”
