Multiplayer IPA is an annual project spearheaded by the Washington Brewers Guild. This year 45 brewers across the state are involved in the collaborative effort.
The release date is May 14th, in conjunction with American Craft Beer Week. Check with the participating breweries (listed below) and follow their websites and social media feeds for specific details about their versions of this IPA and other details.
Breweries across the state are creating their own version of the base beer. The participants receive a guideline recipe for the beer and are encouraged to put their own spin on things. The logo and can design make it easy for consumers to tell that it’s a Multiplayer collaboration beer.
The official description, from the Washington Brewers Guild: “In the spirit of the WA brewing community, brewers from across the state come together to produce Multiplayer Guild Collab, an IPA benefiting the WA Brewers Guild. This IPA is a reflection of a connected and collaborative industry, and a celebration of the WA beer lovers helping us take our craft to the next level. The release date is May 14th (American Craft Beer Week). This is a great way for the brewery community to celebrate the craft beer industry in our beautiful state!”
