August 1st is National IPA Day and the folks at The Sixgill plans to celebrate in a big way. That is, with big IPAs. For the previous two years, the Imperial IPA Invitational happened at The Noble Fir in Ballard. This year, it’s moving to The Sixgill in Fremont. In case you’re unaware, The Noble Fir and The Sixgill are owned by the same people.
Once again the tap list for the Imperial IPA Invitational is impressive. Local favorites like Reuben’s Brews’ Blimey That’s Bitter and Boundary Bay Brewing’s Imperial IPA, along with out-of-state favorites like Bear Republic Brewing’s Mach 10 and Evil Twin Brewing’s Molotov Cocktail.
