2021 Washington Beer Awards winners announced

Last night in Puyallup, the winners of the 8th annual Washington Beer Awards® were announced at an event hosted by the Washington Brewers Guild. The competition is organized and operated by Specialty Competitions LLC, in conjunction with the Guild and the Washington Beer Commission. We share the list of winners below. This year, the panel of judges evaluated 1,100 beers submitted by 142 breweries from across Washington state. Normally, winners are announced at the Washington Brewers Festival in June, but the last couple of years have been anything but normal. This is the first year that the announcements were made at a special event.

All beers were commercially brewed and available in Washington. As with any competition like this, we know which breweries won but we do not know which breweries did and did not enter the competition. If your favorite beer or brewery was not recognized, we do not know if it was even part of the judging.

Cheers to Specialty Competitions! They do a great job running the awards, and it’s a daunting task.
