Reuben’s Brews releasing BBIS variants this Saturday

Always popular, always delicious, Reuben’s Brews released this year’s BBIS (pronounced bee-biss) about one month ago. This Saturday, November 14th the Seattle brewery releases the BBIS variants—the extra-special versions of the beloved Bourbon barrel imperial stout.

The beers go on sale via the Reuben’s Brews online store starting at noon on Saturday. There are limits on the number of bottles that each customer can buy, which will be apparent when you go to place your order.

The release party, which takes place at the brewery’s taproom one hour before the official release, is already sold out. It takes some impressive fortitude to sign up to drink big, dark, barrel-aged behemoths at 11:00 AM, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

Reuben’s Brews says that they hope to do more special, ticketed release events moving forward when they release other very special beers, like the imminent release of Three Ryes Men, the GABF medal-winning barleywine.
