Chainline Brewing introduces its new, second location

Kirkland brewery opening second location in early 2022.

Chainline Brewing is opening a new location early next year. The award-winning brewery will open Chainline Station along the Cross Kirkland Corridor, very near the spot where the company opened its original brewery and taproom about five years ago.

Chainline Station is part of an expansion project at the city’s Feriton Spur Park. Along with a taproom, which will actually be in a real caboose, the project includes a new 16-foot wide paved trail, a pickleball court, urban farm, splash area, amphitheater, and more. Trains are the theme at Feriton Spur Park, offering a nod to the role the railway played in Kirkland’s past.

In August of 2020, Chainline Brewing opened a new taproom in the Kirkland Urban Center, a mixed-use, commercial-residential development in downtown Kirkland. Chainline Station will bring the brewery’s beers closer to its original home along the heavily used Cross Kirkland Corridor trail.

Here is the announcement from Chainline Brewing:

Chainline Brewing Company is proud to introduce our newest location, Chainline Station! Everything you enjoyed about our original location is back, and better than ever!

Anyone who has visited us in the past 5 years should be very familiar with the location as the new space sits exactly on the site of our original brewery and taproom. Situated alongside Kirkland’s brand new Feriton Spur Park on the Cross Kirkland Corridor, Chainline Station is a truly unique experience that will energize and engage the community like never before.

We leaned heavily on the history and legacy of the railroads and trains
that shaped early Kirkland to create a complete experience, from the depot building and water tower, to the centerpiece of the location, a real caboose that has been converted into a coffee house and taproom!

Guests of all ages will be able to stop along the trail and enjoy their beverage of choice (did we mention the ice cream?) while sitting in our outdoor patio, or alternatively, take a stroll through the gardens and orchard that are attached to the grounds.

Currently we are working on a program to collect all of the fruits and vegetables grown onsite and distribute them to families in need around our community, we hope to have more information on that soon. Simply put this is a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone to enjoy and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!

Stay tuned to our social media for updates and look for us to open in early 2022!
