Hopsteiner invites brewers to learn about its sustainability practices

The goal is to help brewers make better decisions in their own processes. Hopsteiner invites brewers to learn about sustainability in the world of hop breeding and hop growing in an upcoming webinar: Breeding The Most Sustainable Hops Grown Today. Registration is now open for the free, Zoom-based webinar on Tuesday, June 21st at 8:00 AM Pacific Time. Register here.

This presentation provides an overview of Hopsteiner hop breeding and hops production that measures carbon emissions and water use. It will include brewing references to help brewers make better decisions regarding the sustainability implications of their own processes.

“Several brewing partners/customers have approached us to ask about sustainable hop options,” said Darren Stankey of Hopsteiner. “In an effort to help answer these questions, we will be hosting a free educational webinar related to sustainable hop varieties and their environmental impact. Specifically, addressing carbon emissions and water usage on our farms. We will be applying this information to real brewing scenarios to help inform for better decision-making in their own processes.”

“As an added benefit, all attendees will have the unique opportunity to win a variety pack of four 11-pound T90 hop pellets. One attendee will be selected at random after the webinar. The only stipulation is that they will need to attend the full webinar in order to be entered to win.”
