Requirements
This position requires candidates to be flexible, have a sense of urgency and prioritize quickly based on packaging needs. Ideally candidates will have basic working knowledge of pneumatics, conveyors, and automation. Prior experience as a machine operator is desired but not required. And ideally candidates will be able to operate complex and precision machinery.
- Primary focus will be to assist with packaging 12 oz. cans on a Wild Goose WGC-250 canning line
- This is a labor-intensive and a highly physical position
- Fill kegs of draft beer when needed
- Assist with daily cleaning/sanitization and maintenance of packaging systems
- Monitor carbonation levels of beer
- Inventory, storage and organization of packaging supplies
- Preparing materials for daily packaging production
- Prepping and staging work space as needed (moving pallets, organizing, etc.)
- Work efficiently and safely to ensure final product is packaged and stored properly
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of packaging activities
- Identifying necessary equipment repairs and conveying maintenance needs to the Packaging Lead in a timely manner
- Focus on run time efficiencies and quality finished goods while continually improving systems in place
- Mechanical knowledge/aptitude/troubleshooting skills
Description
Schedule: 40 hours a week, 4x 10 hour shifts, Tuesday-Friday
