Janelle Pritchard, General Manager at Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company, has been appointed to the Washington Beer Commission. She will represent the state’s beer producers. Janelle will provide the commission with a great wealth of the industry knowldege as well as a lot of passion for craft beer. Cheers to the SFBC Beer Goddess!

Washington State Beer Commission Appoints SFBC Brewer to Board
December 2009 – Snoqualmie, Wash – Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company Brewer and General Manager, Janelle Pritchard, has been appointed to represent Washington beer producers in Position 1 of the Washington Beer Commission. Her term begins immediately and will continue through October, 2012.
Her appointment comes from the State of Washington Department of Agriculture who states that, “her service as a commissioner will contribute to the success of the beer industry in Washington State and to the growth and vitality of Washington’s agriculture in general.”
“It’s vital to the local economy and beer lovers that Washington’s brewing industry continue to prosper,” Pritchard stated after receiving the appointment. “I’m excited that I get to play such an central part in the success of the beer industry. Not just as a brewer and beer lover, but also in the framework of the industry.”
Ms. Pritchard has been the assistant brewer at Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company since 2002. She was appointed General Manager of the Brewery in 2008 and is currently holding her second term as a member of the Washington Brewer’s Guild Executive Committee where she lobbies for brewer’s interests, education, and support for the industry.
