BEER:30 Happy Hour with Optimism Brewing – a conversation with Gay Gilmore, one of the owners/founders of Optimism Brewing. The brewery and taproom is located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, very near the epicenter of the ongoing protests. This is a brewery that is not afraid to take a stand. Also, what they have planned for their reopening.

BEER:30 Happy Hour with Reuben’s Brews – a conversation and a beer with Adam Robbings of Reuben’s Brews.

BEER:30 – Lateral A IPA collaboration project. Lateral A is the name of a road that bisects some of the most prolific hop fields in the world. Now it’s also a beer. Lateral A IPA was produced by Single Hill Brewing of Yakima, Washington — a collaboration project with Zeeks Pizza and Sip Magazine. In this episode of Beer:30 we find out about the project and the players involved.

BEER:30 with Georgetown Brewing – On the day the brewery announced that it is going put the iconic, beloved Manny’s Pale Ale in cans for the first time, I am joined by two key members of the Georgetown brew crew, Reid Spencer and Matt Edwards. We talk about the whole Manny Canny thing and a lot more.

BEER:30 with Dru Bru – I am joined by Dru Ernst, the founder of Dru Bru. We drink and discuss a couple of his beers, talk about the challenges of operating a brewery at Snoqualmie Pass, and hear about their plans to open a second location in Cle Elum, WA.

BEER:30 with Stoup Brewing – Our guests, the owners/founders of Seattle’s Stoup Brewing: Robyn, Lara, and Brad. We talk about how the brewery originally came to be, about their new canning line, and how they’re navigating the new normal.

BEER:30 with Icicle Brewing Company – Pamela Brulotte joins us for a beer and shows us around their production facility, which includes a state of the art CO2 capturing system. Cool stuff.

BEER:30 with Bale Breaker Brewing – We’re joined by the three founders of Bale Breaker Brewing, located just outside of Yakima. Among other things, we talk about their unique, “estate-grown beers” program: the hops and the barley are grown on the family farm that surrounds the brewery.
