Laura Stoudt has slung suds at two of the Seattle area’s greatest beer bars. Recently, you could find her behind the bar at Uber Tavern. Before that, you could find her working the taps at the Dog and Pony. The picture below shows her with one of the Dog and Pony regulars (Kevin Jones) as he presents a Beer Church commendation to the D&P.
A native of Pennsylvania, Laura’s family operates Stoudt’s Brewing Company in Adamstown, PA. Beer is in her blood. She’s brewing royalty.
This Sunday (November 2nd) marks her last day at Uber. Laura has accepted a position with Elysian Brewing, where she will work with Dave Buhler doing sales and promotions. “Basically, picking up some of the slack for Dave,” she told us.
Laura is happy to be moving out of the service end of the industry but wanted us to help spread the word so that everyone can come visit her before she pours her last pint at Uber.
The WBB wants to congratulate Laura on the new gig and also thank her for the years of exceptional service.
