We just caught wind of this. The Porterhouse in West Seattle is about to celebrate its first birthday. Part of the celebration includes the tapping of Dottie’s Seattle Lager from Emerald City Beer Company. Initially reported as the inaugural tapping, turns out this will just be one of the first. Emerald City Beer Company will be there as part of the celebration.
We first told you the story of Emerald City Beer Company back in May when we interviewed Rick Hewitt about the brewery he was in the process of opening in the old Rainier Brewery building.

Tapping into:
Dottie’s Seattle Lager from Emerald City Beer Company.
A firkin of Fremont Brewing Company’s Interurban IPA, dry-hopped and with a hint of lime.
Cask-conditioned Lucile IPA from Georgetown Brewing.
They’ll also have swag from Big Al Brewing.
