Saturday: “Fight On Benefit” at Fish Brewing

Fish Brewing is throwing a big bluegrass, burlesque and beers benefit this weekend as the Olympia community gathers together to support one of their own. The “Fight On Benefit” happens Saturday, February 8th from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

Proceeds from tickets and beers will help towards living expenses, insurance and medical bills for long–time Fish Tale daytime bartender, Jill Hammond, who is fighting ovarian cancer.

The Oly Mountain Boys bluegrass band are providing the music, with extra entertainment from Rock Candy Burlesque’s Zsa Zsa Bordeaux and Riveting Rosey, and TUSH! Burlesque’s Bettie Beelzebub, Ginger Smack and Nani Poonani. Silent auction items will also be available for bidding.

Fight On BenefitThe event is happening at the Fish Brewery, across the street from the Fish Tale Brew Pub at 515 Cherry Street in Olympia. Tickets are on a donation basis, with a sliding scale of $15 to $25 (with larger donations gladly accepted). Fish Tale Brew Pub is providing appetizers and beer and wine will be available for purchase. This is a cash/check events only, no credit cards. For more information, call the brewpub at 360.943.3650.
