Pickle Beer Day at Lucky Envelope Brewing, but that ain’t all

Lucky Envelope Brewing presents its first-ever Pickle Beer Day on Saturday, March 28th. You are invited to come check out three small-batch pickle beer releases. Pickle Beer Day: Saturday, March 28th. Food Truck: Sea Dawgs, 4:30-7:30 pm

Beer Releases:

  • Dilly Dilly Dill Pickle Lager
(4.1% ABV) – The salty-sour beer that started the Pickle Beer Day idea. Our Japanese lager is blended with real refrigerator pickle brine (not the shelf-stable kind), plus fresh dill and garlic to drive the pickle flavor home. Available on draft only.
  • Kimchi Sour
(5.5% ABV) – Tart, funky, spicy. Our base sour, brewed with gochugaru chili flakes, green onion, and of course, a few gallons of our favorite housemade kimchi from Boohan Oriental Market in Edmonds. Available on draft only.
  • Chanh Muoi Gin Barrel-Aged Sour (Vietnamese Preserved Lime)
(6.0% ABV) – We combined our gin-barrel-aged farmhouse ale with chanh muối, a Vietnamese salted preserved lime often used in a sweet, salty, and sour lemonade. We love the way the pickled lime plays off the herbaceous, fruity notes of the gin-barrel-aged blonde base. Available on draft only.

Spring Fling
The following weekend, on April 4th, Lucky Envelope Brewing hosts its Spring Fling beer release event with two collaboration brews and the return of the ever-popular Watermelon Splash. Details below.

Spring Fling: Saturday, April 4th. Food Truck: El Koreano, 4:00-8:00 pm

Beer Releases:

  • Chaostructure West Coast IPA
    Collaboration with Lumberbeard Brewing
(6.6% ABV) – We’re excited to partner with Lumberbeard Brewing out of Spokane to bring you Chaostructure. Brewed with pilsner malts and spelt, this West Coast IPA features generous amounts of Tangier, Citra, Galaxy, and Citra Quantum. The name is a nod to the never-ending chaos of Bret and Barry’s lives as both parents and brewery owners. Available on draft and in cans.
  • Bubba’s Blueberry Wheat Ale
    Collaboration with Latona Pub
(4.7% ABV) – A blueberry wheat ale brewed in collaboration with our friends at the Latona Pub. Inspired by the formative NE wheat ale with the dog in a yellow rain hat, we loaded this thirst-quenching ale with blueberry puree for big aroma and a light fruit flavor. Who’s the dog with no teeth? That’s Bixby, aka Bubba, the real boss of the Latona. Available on draft and in cans.
  • Watermelon Splash Sour
(5.6% ABV) – Real Watermelon puree and Marketspice’s Watermelon Splash Herbal Tea infused into our house golden kettle sour base. Just in time for summer, this sour is refreshing, light, and lined with a touch of sweetness like the perfect bite of watermelon. The tea contains green rooibos tea, watermelon, apple pieces, strawberry pieces, and hibiscus. Available on draft and in cans.
