Scuttlebutt Brewing in Everett is currently looking to hire an assistant brewer.

Scuttlebutt Brewing Company is looking for a career minded Assistant Brewer to join our team. Qualified candidates will have a passion for beer, attention to detail, good communication skills, competent administrative skills, clean driving record, and a strong desire to be in the beer industry.

Job Duties:

Assist the Head Brewer in day to day operations.
Management and handling of SBC brewed beer through production, conditioning, packaging, and shipping.
Maintaining, operating, and cleaning of SBC production equipment and workspace.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary standard in all aspects of your work.
Assisting in managing and maintaining the proper inventory of all needed supplies.
Represent SBC at events, festivals, and promotions.

Job skills:

1 year brewery experience, science background preferred.
Positive attitude, get it done no matter what.
Current driver’s license with clean record.
Ability to lift full ½ bbl keg, grain bags, operate a forklift.
Desire to learn, grow, take on increased responsibilities.
Ability to work any shift when needed.
Ability to operate and maintain mechanical equipment without destroying it, harming yourself, or others.
The ability to multi task several duties at the same time.
The ability to work hard and efficiently without constant supervision.
The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
