Today (Sun. Dec. 13) – There are ways you can show your support for the fallen Lakewood police officers today. Two events are happening in Tacoma, the other is happening at several locations throughout the region. Do you know of any others?
The Swiss in Tacoma, is hosting a big benefit party for the fallen Lakewood police officers. They have a ton of raffle prizes lined up (including a 65″ Mitsubishi 1080p DLP television w/stand). There will be live music from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Head on down to The Swiss and show your support.
Harmon Brewing has created T-shirts that they are selling to support the cause. If you visit them today, Harmon is offering “all you can eat fish and chips” and Happy Hour all day. They have sold nearly 250 shirts thus far and have another 200 to sell. The shirts cost $20 and all sales go to the Lakewood Police Independence Guild. Their goal is $9500! Great day to stop by Harmon and share the love.
Can’t make it to the Swiss or Harmon? Is there a Ram near you? With 10 locations in the greater Seattle area, there must be one nearby. The Ram family of restaurants (which is headquartered in Lakewood) is hosting a benefit at all 10 of their western Washington locations today. The Ram will donate 15% of the day’s food sales to the cause. Read our post for details.
