Seattle’s Fair Isle Brewing is hosting 14 consecutive nights of pop-up chefs, from September 15th through 28th

In addition to making great beer at its brewery in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, Fair Isle Brewing has a history of allowing up-and-coming chefs a chance to turn a quiet Tuesday into a packed house. This September, the brewery is leaning into that concept. For 14 consecutive nights, while its kitchen resident, La Marea, takes a quick fall break, Fair Isle Brewing hands over the kitchen space to a collection of up-and-coming chefs. The brewery presents The Chef Sessions in collaboration with Seattle Pop Ups, the go-to source for the Seattle pop-up scene.

From September 15th through 28th, each night features food from a different chef. Here are examples of what to expect: Cavatelli Project’s handmade pasta with Southern-style ragus (Seattle Times best-of); Taurus Ox’s Khampaeng Panyathong’s off-menu dishes like his signature Weeping Bull salad; and Marble Queen’s Detroit-style pizzas with a fried chicken cameo. Along with that, a rotating crew of Seattle’s most talked-about pop-ups, from Garzón Latinx Street Food to Ba Ba Lio to Floranda and beyond. As brick‐and‐mortar spaces get harder to secure, pop‐ups offer chefs the opportunity to experiment, adapt, and keep Seattle’s dining scene moving forward. “We love bringing in unique, talented chefs and giving them a spotlight they might not find anywhere else, and we have great beers that pair perfectly with their food!.” says Kerri Petric, GM at Fair Isle Brewing. “Just as we collaborate with other breweries, we love teaming up with local food talents who unite the community and bring new guests into our taproom.”

Seattle Pop Ups founder Edgar D’Souza agrees: “This is the pop-up scene at its best — bold chefs, a crowd hungry for their story, and exactly the moments we started Seattle Pop Ups to spotlight.”
