Big Al’s Beer and Tutta Bella’s Pizza – Mamma Mia!

We just learned that Big Al’s Brewing and Tutta Bella Pizzeria have collaborated on a beer. Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria has four locations in the Seattle area (Columbia City, Westlake, Wallingford, and Issaquah). The beer was designed to pair specifically with Tutta Bella’s pizza. “This malty amber ale balances an assertive hop bitterness, flavor and aroma with a faint roasty character to match their fine wood fired pizza perfectly,” says Al.

At last, a reason to go get some pizza at Tutta Bella! Ya right, like I ever needed a reason in the past.

  1. Interesting story. I love Tutta Bella’s too – although I’ve had better pizza at the Columbia City than Wallingford in my all too limited trials.

Good to see Big Al’s getting some press and restaurant exposure. “Big Al’s” probably looks better on a restaurant menu than the previous owner’s name of “Rat City”…

  2. The Tutta Bella is also on tap at the Green Frog Cafe in Bellingham. Great little beer bar that you should check out when up here.
