Quite literally, I was sitting here, thinking about pFriem Pilsner. (Don’t you judge me! I had my reasons.) And then, on cue, an email from pFriem Family Brewers landed in my inbox to announce an opportunity to win a fun prize package that includes a two-night stay in Hood River.
First up, let’s introduce the event. pFriemtoberfest (pFriem Oktoberfest) happens in Hood River on Saturday, Sept 26, 2026, 2 – 7 p.m. The festival takes place at Hood River Waterfront Park, which is right across the street from the brewery.
“Celebrate Oktoberfest in Hood River with pFriem + Grasslands Barbecue for our annual pFriemtoberfest!” said the announcement. “This celebration will transform the Hood River Waterfront Park into a slice of Bavaria, complete with traditional music, games, German-inspired food from Grasslands Barbecue, ice cream by Frosty Peak, and pretzels by Urban German. And of course, plenty of pFriem beer, including Oktoberfest served in traditional steins.”
Now, here’s the even funner part. You can enter to win a VIP experience. One winner will receive a two-night stay at the Hood River Best Western Sept 25th-27th and a VIP package at pFriemtoberfest on Sept 26th. All you need to do is fill out the entry form here and then cross your fingers.
