Tacoma Beer Week kicks off on Sunday, August 2nd and culminates with Brew Five Three: Tacoma’s Brews & Blues Festival on Saturday, August 8th. Local venues and breweries will host special events all week long. Calendar below.
Celebrate at The Red Hot, Pint Defiance, Parkway Tavern, Odd Otter Brewing and other Tacoma beer destinations all week and then hit the streets of T-town for the big festival on Saturday. Brew Five Three is an all-day celebration of beer and music on the streets of downtown Tacoma. This 21+ event not only features beer from some of the area’s best breweries, but also music from some world-class blues musicians.

Tacoma, Wash.- Tacoma Beer Week kicks off on Sunday, August 2 and continues with seven days of festive events at local pubs, taprooms, and breweries, celebrating Tacoma’s craft beer community. Tacoma Beer Week will culminate on Saturday, August 8 with the third annual Brew Five Three: Tacoma’s Beer & Blues Festival, a 21+ block party on Broadway with live music, food trucks, and 35+ Washington State breweries.

Brew Five Three: Tacoma’s Beer & Blues Festival
Brew Five Three is a 21+ block party on Broadway between 9th & 11th featuring 35+ Washington State brewers and cider makers, live blues music, and food trucks. Tacoma Beer Week’s Master of Ceremonies will present a People’s Choice Award to the brewer with the most popular selection during the closing ceremonies.
Brew Five Three is a 21+ event; valid photo ID required for entry; no exceptions. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry without refund. Brew Five Three will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, tents will be constructed and the festival will move under cover. Well-behaved dogs on leash are permitted.
Tickets are $25 through August 1, and are $30 the week of the festival. Full-price tickets include six tasting tokens and a souvenir pint glass. Members of the military may purchase a $25 ticket without expiry. Designated drivers tickets are $10 and do not include a glass or tokens.
