Dwinell Country Ales is located in Goldendale, Washington. It’s a lovely little town but it really isn’t very close to anything. I suppose that’s one of Goldendale’s charms. It’s an hour south of Yakima, thirty minutes north of The Dalles, Oregon. You know, it’s out there.
Another charming thing about Goldendale, it is home to Dwinell Country Ales, a brewery that specializes in spontaneously fermented, mixed-culture, and fruited beers. As they put it, Dwinell produces “simple, slow fermentations in the Klickitat Valley using local ingredients and native yeast.”
