Ranger IPA Follow Up

The other day we posted a story about New Belgium Ranger IPA (read it). Since that time, we’ve learned more about the launch–and the events surrounding the launch–of Ranger IPA. Also, Seattle Beer News just posted a review of Ranger IPA (read it).

There will be a number of bars around the region tapping into their first kegs of Ranger IPA on February 1st. It seems that the official countdown has begun and the actual launch time will be 5:00 p.m., but you should check with each bar to make sure. In Seattle, there will be an official launch party at Brouwer’s. Also, the Hopvine and the Park Pub will both be pouring Ranger IPA on February 1st.  As we reported, Mudhoney will play a free show at Neumos on February 8th to celebrate the introduction of New Belgium’s first regular IPA. Ranger IPA will be available at Moe Bar (at Neumos) starting on Feb 1st, tickets to Mudhoney will be available all that week with the purchase of Ranger IPA at the bar. Prior to that, tickets will be available with the purchase of New Belgium 1554.

Down in Tacoma, you can expect to find Ranger IPA on February 1st at the Red Hot, the Parkway, and the Swiss.

As always, if you have more information leave a comment. It’s nice to share.
