News from Big Time

We just got an update from Bill Jenkins at Big Time Brewery. Here’s what Bill has to say for himself:

This year’s Old Sol Wheatwine will be released on Monday, June 22nd. Not strictly on the Summer Solstice as it has been in years past, but since it was festival weekend, I postponed it a day or so, and this way I figure I’ll offer folks a tasty way to ease themselves back into the work week. I may even have some vintages left over from the Sol vertical we did for Beer Week – perhaps a couple of those might reemerge. We’ll see.

Also, the Trombipulator is coming out soon. Soon, as in Tuesday (today), or more likely Wednesday. I fermented it this year with the LaChouffe yeast, and went with a slightly lower gravity. It’s got a nice fruity spiciness and a floral bouquet, and 8.25%, you can have a couple and still be okay. It will also be on tap at the Father’s Day Fest – along with the last remaining keg of the Double Decade, our 20th Anniversary IPA.
