B-Bomb Friday – forget about shopping on Black Friday this year

While retail enthusiasts and recreational shoppers fight for good deals at local malls on Black Friday, beer lovers will gather at Fremont Brewing in Seattle for the annual release of B-Bomb, the brewery’s beloved, barrel-aged winter ale. The beer will be available on tap and in bottles starting at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 24th. At 5:00, they’ll tap into some infused versions of the beer.

Here are all the details about the beer and the release, straight from the brewery:

We’re excited to celebrate the release of this year’s B-Bomb, our annual bourbon barrel-aged winter ale! B-Bomb, formerly known as Bourbon Abominable, will be released in our Urban Beer Garden on “B-Bomb Friday”, November 24th. B-Bomb will be on-tap and available to-go in 22oz bottles at 11am. At 5pm, the legendary Yeti will join the party to help us tap three release-party-only B-Bomb infusions!

B-Bomb bottles are $20 each with a four bottle limit per person.

About: This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel strength Winter Ale. B-Bomb achieves distinct bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, and dark coffee notes from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that B-Bomb will age gracefully for at least another 5 years. Don’t Be Afraid To Be Abominable.
