We’ve just closed our poll asking you to vote for your favorite “Seattle-area beer bar (not brew pub).” While our polls are not scientific, they do represent the opinions of the respondents. For two weeks we ran a preliminary poll, giving you a large list of bars from which to choose. From those results, we created a final list consisting of seven finalists.
Uber Tavern won in a relative landslide. Congrats! Brouwer’s Cafe and the Beveridge Place Pub had respectable showings as well. Complete results are shown below.

I’m partial to the old favorites:
Snow Cap (pretty much the only drinkable Pyramid), the Jolly, Jubalale and Ebenezer.
I’m sure other will add newer and more exotic.
Are you making a distinction between winter and Christmas?
Last I checked, both Ebenezer and Jubelale are Oregonain beers.
Of course, I would like to throw both Hoppy Holidays and Hoppy the Woodsman into the ring.
Going to throw a shout out for Boundary Bay Cabin Fever and Fish Tale Winterfish, a couple of my favs.

I kind of dig Lazy Boy’s Mistletoe Bliss (except when they try and dump old kegs at the Strangebrew Fest in Pt. Townsend…..hahahaha)
Unfortunatley, the more I think about it, most of the holiday ales I like come from out of state 🙁
(Sierra Nevada’s Celebration Ale comes to mind..)

Nothing says winter to me better than Baron’s Liberator. Comes out in mid November usually but not sure if it qualifies technically as a winter brew. Either way, it’s what I love.
