Having attended beer dinners at Schooner Exact Brewing in the past, it was easy to add this event to the list. We know it will be good. On Monday, May 12 at 6:00, Schooner Exact will host a very special beer dinner in partnership with PCC Farmland Trust, Local Chefs for Local Farms.
Local Chefs for Local Farms events are hosted by the region’s top chefs to raise awareness and funds for organic farmland preservation. Past participants include renowned chefs such as Ethan Stowell (Tavolata, and others), Maria Hines (Tilth), John Sundstrom (Lark), Jason Wilson (Crush), and others.
“We’re honored and thrilled to be adding our very own Chef Warren Peterson to this impressive list,” says Heather McClung, owner at Schooner Exact. “This is also the first Local Chef and Local Farms dinner to feature craft beer pairings as opposed to wine pairings.”

Along with a four course meal and beer pairings, local farmers will be speaking along side Chef Warren Peterson, Head Brewer Matt McClung, and PCC Farmland Trust Staff about Washington-produced hops and ingredients, and the land and demand necessary to ensure future access to amazing local beer and food.

Tickets are $85 and include tax and gratuity. Tickets and more info will be available through the PCC Farmland Trust website.
