Whitewall Brewing announces an addition to the ownership team
This announcement follows the development we covered a few months ago regarding the brewery’s past and future. In January we reported that Whitewall Brewing was taking “a pause or maybe a pit stop.” Not a hard stop, and not necessarily closing down, but slowing down and rethinking things; however, it certainly sounded like a complete shutdown was a consideration. Laurel and Sean Wallner, two of the brewery’s founders, decided to step away from the business. As reported, the brewery hoped to find a path forward and sought new partners. Those new partners have been found and Whitewall Brewing rolls on.
“We are thrilled to announce a new chapter in the history of Whitewall Brewing Company!” said a post on social media. “Founders Sean and Laurel Wallner, along with Aaron and Lori Wight, are excited to welcome Brian and Kimi Chadwick into the Whitewall family.” This new partnership between the Wights and the Chadwicks marks an evolution for the brewery in Marysville, Washington. The new partners are the folks behind Craven Farm in Snohomish Valley. Craven Farm is known for its enchanting wedding venue and agri-tourism events. Kimi and Brian Chadwick are passionate about creating memorable experiences and fostering community, which should align perfectly with Whitewall Brewing’s vision.
In case you’ve never been, Whitewall Brewing is about 5 miles north of downtown Marysville on Smokey Point Blvd. Perhaps you’ve seen the sign as you whizzed by on Interstate 5. The taproom is open six days a week and closed on Mondays.
