It’s hard to pick a favorite Tom Douglas restaurant, but TanakaSan definitely sits near the top of my list. I’m a nut for Asian food and TanakaSan puts a very cool and delicious twist on Asian street food that pairs very well with beer. (Pictured above, a personal fave, the Osaka Pancake paired with a pint of stout.)
On Wednesday, April 26th, TanakaSan hosts a beer dinner featuring the beers of Counterbalance Brewing. Chef Melissa Martz has put together a five-course menu paired with five Counterbalance brews. Below, we share more info, including the menu. You can reserve your spot here.

From the event website:
Our team at Tom Douglas’ Tanakasan restaurant is excited to welcome Georgetown’s Counterbalance Brewing Company for a (well-balanced) beer dinner. Brewers Frank Lawrence and Jeff Howell will bring their lineup of crowd favorites and a few newbies – all of which will be paired with delicious Tanakasan fare from the talented Chef Melissa Martz. Just like Counterbalance’s mission, we promise to serve creativity and contradiction for, what will be, an epic feast!
MENU
