Figurehead Brewing presents its Strong and Dark Beer Festival on February 7th
Do the long, dark days of Seattle’s winter get you down? Are you feeling the effects of SAD? Do not despair! Figurehead Brewing in Seattle presents a beer event to brighten your mood while still embracing the darkness. The Strong and Dark (SAD) Beer Festival takes place at Figurehead Brewing’s location in Magnolia on Saturday, February 7th.
Come prepared for the weather because this is dubbed Seattle’s “only outdoor winter beer festival.” The event offers local beer lovers an opportunity to sample beers from near and far. And by “far,” I mean very far. The beer list includes offerings from the likes of Evil Twin Brewing (CT), Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck (Belgium), Yoho Brewing (Japan), and other far-off breweries. You can get your tickets here. A ticket gets you entry to Figurehead Brewing’s beer garden, a special commemorative tasting glass (for the first 125 customers), and 6 beer samples. You can buy tickets at the door, too, but buying them in advance scores you an extra beer token. They’ll have door prizes for the first 10 people through the door. Note: If purchasing tickets online in advance, no physical ticket is required; enter your contact info at checkout, then check in at the door on the day of the event. Be sure to save your confirmation email, too.
