Pumpkin Junction kicks off October 19th at The Beer Junction

It is a busy time of year for beer lovers around here. We plunge headfirst into Oktoberfest biers and celebrations, then we swim our way through fresh hop season, and when we come up for air it’s time for pumpkin beers. This Wednesday, October 19th, The Beer Junction in West Seattle kicks off its annual celebration of pumpkin-inspired beers: Pumpkin Junction.

They’ll dedicate as many as 14 taps to pumpkin beers for the coming days. Not a fan of pumpkin beers? No worries, they’re still serving fresh hop beer and other tasty styles. Here is the announcement from The Beer Junction:

“It may not feel like mid-October (over 80 degrees on Sunday?!), but indeed it is.  And that means we kick off one of our most popular festivals–Pumpkin Junction!  Starting tomorrow when we open at noon, we’ll be featuring 14 pumpkin beers on tap.  We’ll keep these pumpkin beers pouring until they kick, so plan to come Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday for the largest selection.  The full line up is listed below.  There are some fun styles that we haven’t had before (like a pumpkin pie sour, a pumpkin milkshake IPA, and a pumpkin spice latte beer on Nitro).”

“Are pumpkin beers not your thing?  We are still in the heart of fresh hop season, and have 8+ fresh hop beers on tap.  If you came out for the opening line-up of Fresh Hop fest, you’ll find that most of the tap lineup has switched over to new fresh hop beers.”
