Eastside Beer Week returns this year, kicking off on July 13th and running through July 21st. The aim is to celebrate beer. Especially beers brewed on the Eastside. As folks around the Seattle area know, the term Eastside refers to the communities that surround Seattle to the east, northeast, southeast, and across Lake Washington, from Bothell to Renton, from Kirkland to Carnation, and all points in between.

Eastside Beer Week has two basic components: events at various locations across the region and a collaboration beer. This year’s Eastside Beer Week beer was brewed at Watts Brewing in Woodinville. It’s a collaboration beer involving eight Eastside breweries. It is described as “a bright, vibrant west coast IPA.” Keep an eye on Eastside Beer Week’s social media channels (links below) for more details. In the meantime, here’s more info straight from the source.
