Not long ago we shared the announcement that Chef John Howie is opening a brewpub later this year in Bothell (read it). Today we are announcing an upcoming series of beer dinners at Howie’s SPORT Restaurant & Bar in Seattle. The first Brew Master Dinner takes place on Tuesday, May 6th at 6:00 p.m. and will be hosted by Drew Cluley, who is currently Head Brewer at Big Time Brewery but will become Head Brewer at Chef John Howie’s Beardslee Public House.

“I’m happy to see our popular Brew Master Beer Dinners returning to SPORT, but I’m also very excited to see what long-time Seattle Brew Master Drew Cluley of Big Time Brewery brings to the table.” commented Chef/Proprietor John Howie. “Especially since he was my first choice as the Head Brewer for my new project, Beardslee Public House, opening this fall.”

Other Brew Master Dinners will follow in June and July, featuring Georgetown Brewing and Pike Brewing. Plans are being drawn for other dinners in August and September. In October, the Brew Master Beer Dinner will feature beers from the brand new Beardslee Public House.

Tickets for the Brew Masters Dinner as SPORT are $40 plus tax and tip. Reservations are required and there are just 50 seats available. Make your reservations by calling SPORT at 206-404-7768.
