Light Beer Fest this weekend at Flying Lion Brewing in Seattle: Friday, June 14th and Saturday, June 15th
All sorts of light beers. Witbier, lager, pale ale, and so on. As long as it is light, it qualifies for the Light Beer Fest at Flying Lion Brewing. “During the lightest time of the year… comes a celebration of the lightest of beers,” says the event page.
Flying Lion Brewing invites you to share its love of light beer at the 1st Annual Light Beer Fest on Friday, June 14th, and Saturday, June 15th (10am to midnight each day). On the heels of the 10th Annual Dark Beer Fest, Flying Lion Brewing decided to balance the cosmic scales by bringing you two days of nothing but light beer as the sun approaches its most northern position in the sky and marks the beginning of summer.
Each day festivalgoers will see a different lineup of light beers from Flying Lion Brewing and contributions from other local breweries. Enjoy a variety of Witbier, Pale Ale, Kölsch, Pilsner, Saison, and more! No tickets or reservations are required; all seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Annual Light Beer Collaboration – Flying Lion Brewing joined forces with the team at Lowercase Brewing to make a new and exciting lager exclusively for the event!
- Early Open and Soft Pretzels! – Start the adventure early at 10am and enjoy FREE soft pretzel knots from Columbia City Bakery while supplies last!
- Follow the Facebook Event Page for each day’s beer lineup and special announcements.
